Ms Gooch is the President/Chief Executive Officer of GEE, Gooch Enhancement Enterprises
which was organized in 1988 to provide assistance to persons starting small businesses.
Since that time GEE has provided diversity, human resource, leadership, business/management
training and human resource consulting to public and private, profit and non-profit organizations.
Ms. Gooch is a motivational speaker, trainer, facilitator, spiritual counselor, advisor and
business/management consultant. She customizes training programs and workshops for various agencies.
Ms. Gooch retired as a senior level administrator from the federal service after 30 years of faithful
and progressive service in October 2001. Her federal government career began at the GS-1 level and she
retired at the GS-15 level. She was a manager and supervisor for over half of her career which was
characterized by assignments as the American Diversity Program Manager at the Peace Corps, Equal Opportunity
Officer with Army and Air Force activities and the Defense Commissary Agency Central Region. Ms. Gooch
also held positions as Equal Opportunity Specialist and Complaints Manager for Department of Defense
Overseas Dependent Schools and Headquarters Army at the Pentagon. She has traveled extensively in the
US and internationally and impacted people and programs wherever she traveled.
Brenda holds a Masters degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Public Personnel (magna)
from Troy State University; a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (cum-laude) from Fayetteville
State University; and a Management degree from Thomas Nelson Community College. She is an honor graduate
of the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute in Florida and the Army Management Staff College
at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Religious Studies from Trinity College
of the Bible and Theological Seminary.
Brenda Gooch is an experienced and consistently lauded trainer and instructor. She has been conducting
workshops and facilitating courses for over 30 years. She has made highly spirited and enthusiastic
presentations to audiences from classroom sizes to thousands of participants from all levels of military
and civilian communities, Fortune 500 company leaders, civic leaders, and religious organizations. She
has provided training to various private and federal departments to include the Data Communication Corporation,
Departments of Interior, Justice, Environmental Protection Agency, Defense, and Transportation.
