Timiza Woods
Timiza Woods is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University with a Master’s Degree in Employment
Law., a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a Master’s Degree in Conflict Management and
a graduate of Saint Leo University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Administration.
She serves a mediator for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Baltimore, Maryland
and the Maryland Commission for Human Relations in Baltimore, Maryland. Timiza is a member of
the Association for Conflict Resolution, Maryland Chapter and the Maryland Program for Mediator
Excellence.
Timiza began her career as a mediator with the Justice Center of Atlanta in 2003. She worked
as a mediator for several court systems within the Metro Atlanta Area. From 2004 to 2008 Timiza
served as Program Director for Mediation for the Juvenile Court of Clayton County Georgia where
she was responsible for providing alternatives to litigation for youth who were charged with
criminal offenses.
Timiza is a certified EEO Counselor and Mediator and an avid proponent of the use of Alternative
Dispute Resolution to effectively resolve workplace disputes. She has several years experience
working in the field of Human Resources Administration and is dedicated to strengthening workplace
relationships in an effort to further the vision and mission of the organization.
